Circle M Farms and Kennels is the home of English and Irish Jack Russell Terriers.  After the purchase of our first Jack Russell, a female named Mia, we realized that many people have the wrong idea about Jack Russells.  We fell in love with Mia because she was unusually calm and very willing to please.  Our goal is to help the Jack Russell breed by breeding the best quality dogs, making them more enjoyable pets.  Everyone that came into contact with Mia wanted her or one just like her, so we began to look for a quality male with the same temperment to breed her. Most believe you have to deal with a hyper and somewhat uncontrollable dog.  As we searched for that male we found that she was not the only "calm" Jack Russell, but was that way because of her breeding.As we studied the history of the breed it took us back to their origin in England.  Our terriers have a calm disposition and are very willing to please.   Our Jack Russells very much enjoy play time, but when asked to stop they will calm right down.  I have heard this described as having an on/off switch.  Since they are controllable, the calm Jack Russell Terriers are a pleasure to be around.  All of our Jack Russells are between 9 and 11 inches, smooth coats, and not aggressive.  Click on the pages at the left to view our dogs as well as a discription of each. 

Circle M Farms' Quarter Horses are used for pleasure riding, working cattle, and breeding.  We breed for calm disposition in our horses as well.  A good mind and a willingness to please are very important attributes in our  horse program.  If you are interested in our Quarter Horses click on the pages at the left pertaining to them.
